The Summer University will take place at Universidade de Aveiro (Aveiro University, UA), Portugal.

How to get to the UA?

By car:

Arriving from the North, use highway A1 or A29 and exit at Aveiro-Oeste directed towards the university campus (see city map - green route).

Arriving from the South, use highway A1 or A17, exit at Aveiro-Sul/Águeda and follow EN235 up to the university campus (see city map – red route).

By train:

“Linha do Norte” (northern line) train passes in the city of Aveiro. The train station is on the city map. Information regarding train schedules is available at CP (national railway services) website (national railway services).

To the university campus the following alternatives can be used:

Bus. Information is available at MoveAveiro website – line 6, green;
By foot. It takes around 20 minutes (see city map – yellow line);
Taxi. There is a taxi stop in front of the train station);
BUGA. Free bicycles in Aveiro (see city map – yellow line).

At the University Campus:

The lectures will take place at the Mechanical Engineering Department (Departamento de Engenharia Mecânica) in the main auditorium (number 22 in the University Campus Map). The map of the University Campus indicates the existent buildings, as well as parking lots.
